EAKIN Emily (née McCartney) (High Street, Monaghan, formerly of Ballintoppin, Smithborough), April 27, 2015, (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Mullinahinch Nursing Home. Wife of the late Gerald and much loved mother of Joan, Hilary, Geraldine and the late David. Sadly missed by her sister Edie, and extended family. Funeral service in First Monaghan Presbyterian Church tomorrow, (Wednesday) at 2.00 o'clock, followed by burial in Smithborough Presbyterian Church graveyard. No flowers please, donations, if desired, to Monaghan Cancer Treatment Support or The Alzheimer Society of Ireland c/o Jeremy Herron, Glaslough, Co. Monaghan or any family member. "The Lord is my Shepherd"
