MURPHY, Ted (Bettystown, Co Meath, Drogheda, Co Louth and formerly Gillardstown, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath) – September 2, 2023 - peacefully surrounded by his devoted family at his residence. Dearly loved husband of Catherine, much loved dad of Paul, Joseph and Stephen, and adoring grandad to Orla, Oisin and Aoife. Ted will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving family, daughters-in-law Leanne and Mayara, sisters Mary and Ann, brothers Fr Jimmy and Sean, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Reposing at P Townley & Sons Funeral Home, Drogheda A92 XN75 today (Monday) from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7.30pm Ted’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12 noon in the Church of St John the Baptist Whitehall, Castlepollard, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please; donations in lieu, if desired to East Meath Hospice. House strictly private please. "May He Rest In Peace"
