KIERNAN (née Dolan) (Glenageary, Co. Dublin) - December 3, 2012, (peacefully), in her 100th year, surrounded by her family, in St. Columcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown, Bridget (Bridie), beloved wife of the late Michael and great-grandmother of the late Freya, loving mother of Michael, Ida and Gerard; very sadly missed by her sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Angela and Colette, grandchildren Andrew, Keith, Michael, Helen, Rachel and Peter, great-granddaughter Elvie, her brother-in-law Jimmie, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Quinn's of Glasthule tomorrow (Thursday) from 5 o'clock-7 o'clock Removal on Friday to St. Joseph's Church, Glasthule arriving at 11.20 o'clock for 11.30 o'clock funeral Mass followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to the Simon Community."Keep moving, keep travelling, age is only in the mind"
KIERNAN Bridget (Bridie) (December 3, 2012) - Bridie's sons Michael and Gerard, daughter Ida and extended family would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy, donations to the Simon Community, those who attended the Funeral and also to all the medical staff in St. Columcille's Hospital. Thank you to the priests of St Joseph's Parish in Glasthule and Father Des Kelly who helped us celebrate 100 years of Bridie's life. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this Acknowledgement as a sign of our sincere appreciation and gratitude on this the First Anniversary of Mum's passing.
