BROUDER, Gerard Francis (Gerry) late of Blackrock, Co Dublin, formerly of Limerick - 5th November 2023, peacefully after a long illness, in the kind care of the doctors and nurses of Blackrock Hospice and especially of Elm Ward, St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Elder son of the late Michael and Eileen Brouder, and brother of the late Michael, Limerick. Deeply regretted and dearly beloved of Valerie (Val), his wife and soulmate of 52 years, his loving sons David and Geoff, their partners Helen and Elizabeth, and his adored grandchildren Dylan, Jaime, Aisling and Aoife, by the Purcell families (Pierce’s in Galway, Joan Canelada’s in Spain), his many friends and caring neighbours. Reposing at Massey Bros Funeral Home, Newtown Park, Blackrock A94 X308, from 5-7pm Wednesday 8th November. Funeral Mass at the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown, at 11 a.m. on Thursday 9th November (the service may be followed on RIP.ie). Followed by burial at Deangsrange Cemetery May he rest in peace

On his first anniversary, Valerie, David and Geoff would like to thank all those
who sympathised, sent flowers, cards, letters, messages, and Mass cards, and
who attended Gerry’s Repose and came to his Funeral Mass.
Your support and caring meant a great deal to us, and it was
wonderful to see so many old friends and neighbours.
