KNIGHTLY, Michael (Doneraile, Co.Cork, died April 3, 2009 ) - On this, the first anniversary of Mick's death, his wife , Pauline, the Knightly family and extended family would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their support at the time of his passing and throughout the last year. Those who attended the Removal Service, Mass and Burial, including the members of Doneraile Golf Club. Those who sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy and floral tributes. To all who telephoned and visited, we thank you sincerely. The kind words, shared memories and prayers are much appreciated and helped us through this sad time. We extend deepest gratitude to Dr. Oonagh Gilligan, Cork University Hospital for her kind, individualised, professional care. A special thanks also to GP and friend Dr. Pat O' Riordan, Mallow, Co. Cork and to Helen Davern for all her help. The sensitive support that we received from Canon Gerard Casey PP and Stack's Funeral Services, Doneraile will always be remembered. Mass has been offered for everyone as a token of our appreciation. We thank God for Mick's long life and peaceful death.
