MULLANE, Dermot (7 Derg Marine Village, Ballina, Co. Tipperary) - On Friday October 7th, 2022, peacefully at home. (Formerly of Irish Times and RTE). Dearly beloved husband of Kay (McGuinness) and loving father of Eric. Sadly missed by his sisters Deirdre (Lynch) and Sheenagh (Blundeon), daughter-in-law Orla, adoring grandchildren Alexander, Hugo and Christina, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, extended family and friends. May he Rest in Peace. Requiem Mass this (Tuesday) morning October 11th at Church of Our Lady & St. Lua, Ballina, Co. Tipperary at 11am. Private cremation later. House private. Family flowers only. MULLANE - Dermot (Ballina, Killaloe) Died October 7, 2022. Dermot’s wife Kay, son Eric, daughter-in-law Orla, grandchildren Alexander, Hugo and Christina express their heartfelt appreciation to their extended family, friends, neighbours and colleagues for their support and kindness at the time of Dermot’s death. For the letters, cards, funeral attendance, both in person and online which gave them great comfort. Thanks to Fr Edmond O’Rahelly for the beautiful funeral Mass and for his continuous kindness and support during Dermot’s illness. Eamonn Lawlor for his wonderful Eulogy. A model of its kind. A special thanks to Delia for her dedication, guidance and friendship. Thanks to the team of Carers, Marian, Therese, Vicky, Rachel and Finola. The Milford Palliative Care Team and the Parkinson’s Mid-West Team. Dr Helena Moore and Dr Siobhan Lynch and Pharmacist Brian Grogan. Thanks to John Thompson and all his team at Thompson’s Funeral Undertakers Limerick for their professional care and guidance. It is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our gratitude. Dermot is loved and missed, remembered today and all the days.
