TIERNEY (née Shine) (late of Moy, Lahinch, Co. Clare, formerly of Loreto College, St. Stephen's Green, Dublin) - October 21, 2014, (peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in the tender care of Dr. Jenny Westrup, her team, nurses and staff in the Beacon Hospital). Mary, beloved wife of Shay and loving mother to Mick and Annie. Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughter, mother Rita, brothers Ger and Noel, sisters Anne, Bernie and Joan, brothers-in-law Denis and Abdoule, sisters-in-law Ann and Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and colleagues. May she Rest in Peace. Reposing at her home today (Wednesday) from 3.00pm to 7.00 pm. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) morning to St. Paul of the Cross Church, Mount Argus arriving for 11.30 Mass. Funeral afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross. Family flowers only please , donations if desired to Irish Cancer Society.
TIERNEY Mary, Died October 21, 2014 - On this her First Anniversary, Mary's mother Rita, husband Shay, son Mick, daughter Annie, brothers Ger and Noel, sisters Anne, Bernie and Joan, wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised and supported us during our sad loss. We would like to express our deepest appreciation to the many people who offered condolences, sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy and who attended the funeral Mass. For the kindness and generosity of our extended families, friends and neighbours we will be forever grateful. We would especially like to thank the staff and pupils of Loreto College St. Stephen's Green and Fr. Joe for their celebration of the funeral Mass. May she rest in peace.
