DOUGLAS Brian - Died November 14, 2011. On the First Anniversary of Brian's death, his wife, Maria, daughter Gill and his family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all of those who supported us during our great loss. Our deepest appreciation to those who attended the hospital, funeral home, removal, Requiem Mass, to those who sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy, called to the house or phoned and to those who donated to the M.I.R.T. in Brian's name. Our sincere thanks to Fr. Alex Conlan, Fr. Padraig Shelly, Fr. Gerard Tyrrell, Fr. Brendan Madden & Fr. PJ Cunningham who concelebrated Requiem Mass. Thanks to Marie Hogan, Conor Fenlon, Adam Douglas, John Coffey & Liam Ruth for providing the beautiful music. Thank you to our extended family, friends, neighbours and colleagues and to Brian's colleagues for their ongoing friendship and support. We would like to express our great appreciation for the care and kindness shown by Brian's doctors, nurses and staff at the Blackrock Clinic, the Beacon and Mater hospitals, in particular to Dr. David Fennelly, Dr. Peter O'Gorman, Professor John Armstrong and to Sinead and all the wonderful nurses in Blackrock O.D.U. who looked after Brian so well. A huge thank you to Martin & the staff of Quinn's Funeral Directors, Glasthule, for their kindness and professionalism. We are most appreciative also for the love and support shown to Brian by his close friends, particularly in his final weeks and days. It is not possible to thank everyone individually therefore please accept this as an acknowledgement of our deepest appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Brian's Anniversary Mass will be held in the Church of St Alphonsus & Columba on Sunday November 18th at 10.30am
