McDONALD, John (Johnny), (Raheny) - November 21, 2014, peacefully at The Raheny Community Nursing Unit. Beloved husband of Pearl and dear father of Kieron, Orna, Johnny, Eamonn, Aisling, Conor and Dara. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister Pauline, brother Edmund, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and his many friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at The Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand. Removal this Monday evening to St Brigid's Church, Killester, arriving at 5.30pm. Funeral tomorrow, Tuesday morning, after 10am Mass, to St. Fintan's Cemetery, Sutton. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Dementia Services Information and Development Centre.

McDONALD John (Raheny and late of Clontarf) - On the First Anniversary of his death, November 21, 2014 his wife Pearl together with his family Kieron, Orna, Johnny, Eamonn, Aisling, Conor and Dara, son and daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchild, his sister Pauline and brother Edmund would like to express their sincerest appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who attended the funeral home, removal and funeral Mass, sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy, floral tributes and to all those who travelled from his beloved Wexford, where he held a special place in his heart. We would like to extend a special word of thanks to Royal Dublin Golf Club and Clontarf Cricket and Football clubs. Thank you also to all the staff on the Hardwicke Ward in Beaumont Hospital and to Mon. Alex Stenson and Fr. Brendan Staunton for concelebrating the Mass. As it is impossible to extend our gratitude to so many people individually please accept this Acknowledgement as an expression of our deep appreciation. Mass will be offered for all of your intentions.
