LAING, Elizabeth (Lily) and Sydney

LAING - - Elizabeth (Lily), August 28, 2020 and Sydney, April 7, 2021. On the First Anniversary of Lily's death, she and Sydney are lovingly remembered now and always by their daughters: Zandra and Hilary, their sons-in-law, Andrew and Denis, their grand-children, Ingrid and Robert and by the extended family. Our heartfelt thanks to all the agencies who were such a help and support to us and enabled both Mum and Dad to remain in their own home until God called them. We deeply appreciate their faithful friends who visited them regularly and their neighbours in Clondalkin who were so kind to them over the years. Our thanks also to Gus Nichols, Paul McDonald and the staff of Nichols Funeral Home for their compassion and professionalism. We especially thank Dean William Morton for facilitating and conducting both our parents' funerals in the beautiful surroundings of St Patrick's Cathedral, a place they both deeply loved. We sincerely appreciate all the Sympathy and Mass cards, online condolences, letters and phone calls and generous donations to The Irish Cancer Society and St Patrick's Cathedral Roof Repair Fund from friends far and near bringing us comfort during the last sad year. While we endeavoured to personally acknowledge each condolence, there were some to which we were unable to send a reply, so we trust this notice will be accepted by all as a token of our profound gratitude.
