McKEEVER, McKEEVER, Daphne (née Egan) (Rathfarnham and formerly of Glasnevin, Dublin) January 28th 2021. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Brian McKeever and predeceased by her infant son Brian Christopher. Sadly missed by her children Gerry, Avril, Simon, Paul and Bruce, loving grandchildren Alex, Amanda, Jenny, Michelle and Camille, son-in-law and daughters- in-law Graham, Niamh, Siobhán and Sally. Treasured sister of her brother Jimmy and predeceased by her brother Monsignor Ivor Egan and sister Grace. Fondly remembered by her many relatives within the extended Egan and McKeever families and her community of close friends and neighbours in Rathfarnham. A lady of immense character, strength and determination who passed in the care of St Vincent’s University Hospital Dublin. Rest in Peace The family would particularly like to thank the many Nurses and Doctors and other staff of St. Vincent’s University Hospital who cared for Mum in her final 2 weeks and pay tribute to their professionalism and incredible patience and kindness shown to both her and the family whilst working under extremely challenging circumstances. We are very grateful to them. Due to Government advice and restrictions regarding public gatherings, a private family funeral will take place, at the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham today (Wednesday) 3rd February followed by Cremation Service at the Garden Chapel, Mt Jerome. The family ask that the current Government restrictions are respected. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral but due to current restrictions cannot, may view the Requiem Mass today (Wednesday) 3rd February 2021 at 11.30 am. Family flowers only, please.
