Funeral Service on Monday at 11 o'clock in Zion Parish Church, Bushy Park Road, Rathgar and afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Irish Wheelchair Rugby."With Christ which is far better"

BURNS, Ian (July 30, 2014) - Jackie, Robbie, Leeza, Peter and Nicki, after three years, still love and cherish you each day. Your guidance and support is gone but we carry your teachings in all that we do.

<p>BURNS, Ian (Burnsie) - On this the First Anniversary of the sudden passing of Ian in the early hours of July 30, 2014 in Dohulla, Ballyconneely; Jackie, Robbie, Peter, and Nicola wish to thank all those who have supported us and who continue to support us through this heartbreaking time. We could never begin to name all the family, neighbours, friends, work colleagues, sporting clubs and church families, who have stood by us, attended the funeral, fed us, visited us, sent letters etc. and prayed for us over the past year. We would like to mention Rev. Arthur Young of Kill o the Grange, our new extended family in Trinidad, the school community of Kildare Place School and the medical services in Connemara. We would like to thank our friends at Connemara Rugby Club, Rev. Stan Evans and Ballyconneely community for organising a Memorial Service in Clifden, and we especially remember with great sadness our dear neighbour and friend, Padraic Conneely (recently deceased). We are eternally grateful to you all. &quot;The Lord is near the broken-hearted and saves the crushed in spirit' Psalms 34; 18)</p>

<p>No time to say goodbye</p> <p>Shocked at learning of this very sudden sad news. Ian will long be remembered by all who met him in Coventry.
