GORDON, Mary, (May 4, 2021, Rathgar D6, formerly Lurgan, Co Armagh). Peacefully at home following an illness borne with dignity and courage. Beloved wife and best friend of Noel (O’Duill), much loved mother of Aoife. Mary will be forever loved and dearly missed by her husband and daughter, her sister and brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and a wide circle of friends who admired her courage, leadership and wisdom. In keeping with current government and HSE guidelines, a private funeral will take place for family and close friends. For those who cannot attend a private message of condolence for the Gordon/O’Duill family can be left at https://www.masseybrosfuneralhomes.com/funeral-notices. Please remember Mary on Saturday morning at 11am when her Requiem Mass takes place in the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar, the link to view this service is: https://www.rathgarparish.ie/webcam/ Whilst flowers are appreciated, our preference is that donations, if desired, be directed to Our Ladies Hospice & Care Service, Harold’s Cross (https://olh.ie/fundraising/), following the wonderful care Mary and her family received from this organisation May she rest in peace.
