COSTELLO, James (Jim) (Sandymount and Cherry Orchard, Dublin), July 11, 2022. Unexpectedly at St. James‘s Hospital after a short illness. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife Delia (née Donovan), sisters Muriel, Denise, and Ann and brother Gerard. Predeceased by his brother Brendan. Sisters-in-law Margo and Goretti, brother-in-law Frank, his nieces, nephews and extended family. We are eternally grateful to the staff of Cherry Orchard Hospital, St. Thomas’s Hospital London and Maria who cared for him at home in recent years. Reposing tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at Fanagans Funeral Home, 54 Aungier Street, Dublin 2. from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Mary’s, Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount arriving at 10.50am for Funeral Mass at 11.00am followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Polio Survivors Ireland. https://polio.ie/ Rest in Peace.
