DONOHOE, Desmond (Des), (Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Carlow), July 20, 2017, (peacefully) after a short Illness, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent's Hospital. Predeceased by all his loving siblings Eamon, Donal (Australia), Una, Emer McCann, sister-in-law Ann (Knox) and brother-in-law Jack Cauldwell. Dearly loved and loving husband and best friend of 59 years to Marie. Beloved father to his sons Coleman and Gavin and daughters Lesley (Johnson), Suzanne (Gray) and Caroline (Malone). Sadly missed by his sons-in-law Paddy, Leo and Gerry, daughters-in-law Eilish and Gemma, devoted grandpapa to Deborah, Desmond, Ruth, Keith, Emma, Tom, Isobel, and Martha, sisters-in-law, Angela and Yvonne, brothers-in-law Kevin and Jimmy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, good friends and special friends in Ballyvaughan. Reposing at Massey Bros., Funeral Home, 5 Newtown Park, Blackrock, today (Saturday) from 4 o'c to 7 o'clock Funeral arriving to the Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtown Park Avenue, Blackrock on Monday at 9.50 o'c for 10 o'c Requiem Mass.
