MAHON Sir Denis CH, CBE, FBA, FRSA - April 24, 2011. Sir Denis died suddenly yet peacefully at home on Easter Day, aged 100 years. Sir Denis, one of the greatest art historians of his generation, will be greatly missed by all who knew him. There will be a memorial service to celebrate his life at St-Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 3.00pm.
