<p>DONOHOE Sr Damien - Katie, (Loreto Hall, 77 St Stephen's Green, Dublin) - April 4, 2011 (peacefully) in the loving care of the nurses and staff of St Vincent's Ward, St Vincent's Hospital. Sadly missed by her Loreto Sisters, her sister Bridget, her sister-in-law Bridget, her nieces, nephews, their children, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents, sisters Mary and Josie, brothers Pat and Tom, sister-in-law Milla, brother-in-law Bill. Reposing in Loreto Hall, 77 St Stephen's Green today (Tuesday) from 5pm. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) to St Michael's Church Gorey for Funeral Mass at 11am. Followed by burial in Loreto Convent Cemetery, Gorey. May she Rest in Peace.</p>

<p>One of the most inspiring people I've ever met</p> <p>I grew up hearing about Sr. Damien from my mother and aunts, whom she had taught in Loreto Convent in India. I feel extremely lucky to have met Sr. Damien in Dublin in March 2008. She was one of the most impressive people I've ever met. I will never forget her eyes, most alive and loving, and her keen memory: she remembered all the women from my extended clan. Attached is a picture I took of Sr. Damien in March 2008, when I met her. My fondest regards go with her, and my best wishes to the other sisters in Loreto.</p> <p>Rohini Pande (daughter of Minty Prabha Shukul Pande)</p>

<p>Goodbye and thank you.</p> <p>We remember the lessons on classical Greek tragedy and old comedy,(she loved everything classical Greek),Louis MacNeice's 'Snow', the 'man without a head' Irish ghost story, holiday on 17 March in a college in the Indian Himalayas... We loved the way she'd tactfully omit the bawdy parts in 'The Frogs'! Goodbye Mother Damien.</p>
