EARLIE - David Joseph Earlie was a bright shining star. He will be missed every day for the rest of my life. As a young boy he was full of fun and mischief but ever respectful and mannerly. He had charm and energy and filled everyone he met with good humour and joy. He was always available to help others to solve their problems. His European Education in Paris and Salamanca made him a multi cultured linguist who could converse on so many issues and topics that fascinated his listeners. As a professional he worked hard, set high standards for himself and enjoyed his colleagues at Davy Stockbrokers.

David’s family was his major priority in life, his wife and best friend Lisa, daughter Elizabeth Nyx and Mathew Michael. Their grief is immeasurable. David shunned cruel nasty behaviour.

He was loyal to his friends. When I recently asked him how he was coping with his illness he replied,” I put one foot in front of the other every day”. He fought his illness bravely with courage and conviction till the end. And so, there is no goodbye David, you will always be in my heart.
