SCAIFE, Scaife, William Garrett (Garry), (Sandymount, Dublin 4. Late of School of Engineering at Trinity College Dublin 2 ) - October 25, 2017. Peacefully, after a short illness and a long fruitful life, in the care of the wonderful staff at St. Vincent's University Hospital. Beloved husband of Eileen, and devoted father to Ronan, Geraldine, Caitriona, Sarah-Jane, Ellen, Daragh, Delia, and Patricia. Sorely missed by his brother and soul-mate Brendan, and grandchildren Aifric, Cian, Hannah, Eoin, Lucy, Matt, Iarla, Jessica and Eve, sons-in-law Joe, Matt, Tim, Alan, and David, daughters-in-law Ger and Anita, granddaughter-in-law Alex, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law,extended family, former colleagues and Clare friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at home this Friday evening from 6pm - 8pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow Saturday at 10 o'clock in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount, followed by cremation at Mount. Jerome, Harold’s Cross. No flowers, please. Donations in lieu to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

I had the honour to be research student at TCD with your late father..just now I wondered what my Teacher and great mentor was doing ..I am very sorry for his loss..He was a great man..apart from an excellent academic was human and friend
