JACKSON, Paul - On the First Anniversary of Paul's death on January 8, 2015, Emma his beloved daughter, Val his devoted partner, parents Reggie and Anne, sisters Regina and Caroline and his extended family wish to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with us during our sad bereavement. In particular, we would like to extend our appreciation to all who attended Paul's funeral Mass, many having travelled a long distance to be there, and those who sent letters of condolence and Mass cards. Also, we include Frs. Noel Barber and Conor Harper who movingly concelebrated his funeral Mass. Alan Fanagan of Fanagans Funeral Directors assisted us in every way possible for which we are most grateful. Our special thanks also to Dr. Ray McDermott and the nursing Staff of St. Vincent's Private Hospital who were so kind and attentive to Paul during his illness. The very many of Paul's friends who attended his funeral demonstrated how popular he was.

Deepest Sympathy

We were so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I was in school with Paul but had met him more recently again through Emma's friendship with my own daughter, Isabel. We met for lunch a few months ago and he was as quick-witted and good- humoured as ever, in spite of the effects of his illness.

Our deepest sympathies are with Emma and Val and the rest of the family at this terrible time. Do take some comfort in how well loved and respected he was, even by those of us who hadn't seen much of him in a long time.

Brian Whelan

Classmate

With Sympathy

Dear Family

It is with deep sadness that I learned of Paul's passing. The last time I saw him was walking out the gates of Gonzaga on our final day, however I remember him with great fondness. My abiding memory will remain of Paul as a Humorous and Jolly Guy who always saw the funny side of life.

Mark Miller (London)
