ROCHE, Gerald, (Kimmage Road West), September 21, 2017, (peacefully) at St. Vincent's University Hospital; beloved husband of the late Cecilia (Cecil), loving father of Owen, Leslie, Lorna, Elizabeth, Cecily, Stephanie and the late John and baby Gerald; adored grandfather of Christopher, Emilie, Matthew, Marcus, Clara, Nicholas and Alina. Loved and remembered always by his family, sisters Anna and Lorna, sons-in-law Denis and Russell, daughter-in-law Sarah, the extended family and many friends. Our sincere thanks to the doctors and staff at both Galway University and St. Vincent's University Hospitals. Rest in Peace. Removal on Monday evening, September 25, from Fanagans Funeral Home, Lr. Kimmage Road to Terenure College Chapel, arriving at 6.30 o'clock Funeral on Tuesday, September 26, after 11 o'c Mass to Deans Grange Cemetery.
ROCHE Gerald, (Kimmage Road West) (died September 21, 2017) On the First Anniversary of Gerald's death, his children Owen, Leslie, Lorna, Elizabeth, Cecily and Stephanie, together with their families, wish to thank all those who sympathised with them, attended his funeral and sent Mass cards and letters. We would also like to thanks the doctors, nurses and staff at Galway University and St. Vincent's University Hospital and would like to thank Gerald's friends in Connemara and Pontoon for their support during his time of illness in Galway. Gerald is lovingly remembered today and always (together with his late wife Cecil, and sons John and baby Gerald) by all of his family and his wide circle of friends. As it would not be possible to thank everyone personally, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as recognition of our appreciation and gratitude.
