DUGGAN Douglas E. (Dougie) (Templeogue, Dublin) died January 27, 2012 - Olwyn, Mark and Áine are most grateful to the staff of Tallaght Hospital for looking after our father during his frequent admissions. Thanks to Dr. John Barragry and Dr. Mark Sherlock and their teams, the Palliative Care team, the Chaplaincy team and most particularly the nursing staff of Lynn Ward who cared for him in his final days. We would also like to thank our families, extended families, friends and colleagues and all who called to the house or attended the funeral for their support on our sad loss. Friendship is its own reward but we must acknowledge the kindness shown to Dougie by his own lifelong work friends and the friends/neighbours around him in Orwell Park, the staff of Comfort Keepers and local Meals on Wheels who made it possible for him to live at home with his cat for so long. Thanks to doctors Hazel Byrne, Ahmad Ajina and Denis O'Sullivan and their staff for so much care over so many years. Thanks to Fr. Gregory O'Brien and all who took part in the funeral Mass and Massey Bros. who together provided a dignified farewell.
