BAKER, (formerly McCullagh, née Kerr) Sylvia, (Kilkee, Rostrevor, Cloughjordan and Dublin) - June 21, 2016, (peacefully), in the loving care of the staff of Sonas Care Centre, Athlone, following a long illness borne with great dignity and courage. Sylvia is pre-deceased by her loving husbands, Stan McCullagh and Val Baker, her brother Bobby Kerr and sister Hilda Kent; she is deeply regretted by her loving daughters Anne and Mary (McCullagh), Geraldine (O'Neill), and their partners, Val's children Susan, Peter and David Baker, her sisters Pixie Leahy (Canada) and Doris Loftus, her grandchildren, her devoted nieces, nephews, extended family and many loyal friends. Sylvia will be reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road (opposite UCD Fly-over) from 3pm to 5pm tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11.30am, at the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown Avenue. A private cremation will take place the following day at Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only, please."May she rest in peace"
