MOLLOY, The family of the late Robert (Bobby) Molloy, (Salthill, Galway), his wife Phyllis, children; Sinead, Sorcha, Daragh and Donncha along with his brothers and sisters and large extended family, offer our sincere gratitude to all those who kindly supported us during the recent loss of our beloved Robby. We deeply appreciate all those who came to offer their condolences in our home, attended the funeral, sent Mass cards, letters of support and floral tributes and most especially to those who travelled to be with us during our time of grief. A special word of thanks to President and Mrs. Higgins, the President's Aide De Camp, the Mayor of Galway Cllr. Noel Larkin, current and former members of Dáil Eireann, Galway City Council and Galway County Council, representatives of the Defence Forces and An Garda Siochana for their attendance, help and support on the day of the funeral. A sincere thanks to Fr. Gerry Jennings for all his support during this time and to the clergy who joined him in celebrating the Funeral Mass and burial. To the priests and staff of Galway Cathedral for organising and facilitating the funeral. To the wonderful oarsmen who formed a guard of honour. To Galway City counsellors led by His Worship The Mayor for leading the funeral cortege to Bohermore cemetery. To all those who walked behind the hearse and the people of Galway who paid their respects to Robby on his final journey. As it is not possible to thank you all individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
