BURNS V. Rev. Dermot, March 29, 2017, (formerly of the Square, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon), Pastor Emeritus Straide, Co. Mayo. Beloved son of the late Una and Paddy. Predeceased by his parents and his much loved brother John R.I.P., (peacefully) at the Galway Clinic. Deeply regretted by his beloved twin brother Pat (Ballaghaderreen), sister Joan (Athlone) and brother Frank (Newbridge), sister in law, brother in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, Bishop Brendan Kelly, priests and religious of the diocese of Achonry, former parishioners and friends. Reposing at Ss. Peter & Paul's Church, Straide this (Friday) evening from 3.30pm to 6.00pm. Concelebrated Requiem Mass tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon at 2.00pm followed by interment in the Church grounds.Rest in Peace.
