HEANEY, - Dr. John Alan (New Hampshire), February 24, 2018, surrounded by his family, John passed away at the age of 71. After graduating in medicine from Trinity College, he began his 42 year medical career at the Adelaide Hospital in Dublin. His career as a Urologist was in Dublin and in Boston, then at the Dartmouth/Hitchcock Medical Centre. John was pre-deceased by his parents Albert and Winifred and his brother Stephen. He is survived by Fiona, his wife of 45 years, children Adam, Denton, and Lia, and his brother Michael. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 24 at 11 o’clock at The Church of Christ at Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH. Memorial donations in memory of John may be made to Cure PSP, an organisation working to end this prime-of-life neurodegenerative disease.
