McNIFF, In loving memory of Duncan on his First Anniversary, June 14, 2016. Duncan's wife Ikue, children Kana, Lachlan and Hugo (California), his parents Peter and Gwen, brothers Gavin and Bennet (Ireland) would like to acknowledge all the help and kindness they received following his sudden death on June 14, 2016. We thank all those who attended the Masses in Benicia and Greystones, and those who travelled from afar to be present, among them, Paul, Killian and Mick who journeyed from Greystones and New York. To the many who wrote, sent sympathy and Mass cards, made donations to his family and visited the house, we are truly grateful. For their services, help, and kindness we thank the priests and laity in the parishes of St. Dominic's Church, Benicia, California, and the Holy Rosary Church, Greystones. We thank David Roche who organized a gathering at Greystones harbour to coincide with Duncan's funeral in the US; and Mark Kinsella from Murphy's Funeral Directors, La Touche Wines, Marion Johnson, and Fahy's Pharmacy, for their generosity and practical help. Not least, we were deeply gratified by relatives, friends and neighbours who came to support us, shared memories, and alleviated our grief. It is our sincere hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a heartfelt expression of our gratitude.
