TOOMEY Charles Barry (Blackrock, Co. Dublin), December 17, 2011 - Barry's wife Mary, daughter Aoife, sister Sandi and brother Ian wish to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to our families, relatives and friends for their great love and unfailing support during his long and difficult illness at home and in Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross, Dublin; to all who attended the removal and funeral, especially those who travelled long distances; to the multitude from around the world who took the trouble and time to write letters and messages of sympathy, or send Mass cards and to those who visited us at home throughout the past four weeks, we are so grateful for your comforting words and helpful deeds. We are also deeply indebted to the following for giving so much attention and care to Barry during the past year: Medical and Nursing Staff of Blackrock Hospice, Mary T and her staff of St Michael's Ward, Harold's Cross Hospice. Special word of thanks to the Very Reverend Peadar Murney and Joe McDonald for their pastoral care and beautiful funeral ceremony; members of Johnstown Parish Church Choir, and violinist, Margaret Burns. We would also like to take this opportunity and thank many of our families, relations, friends and organizations both here and abroad for their generous donations to Harold's Cross Hospice during Barry's time at the hospice and later in his memory. And finally, our grateful thanks to our wonderful neighbours and friends Maureen Windsor, Titus Sopran and Robert Fagan Jr for their exceptional kindness, generosity and immense day-to-day help throughout Barry's illness. It was a great privilege to witness and experience humanity and Christianity in action. The Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated at 7 pm on Saturday, January 28, 2012 in Johnstown Church, Killiney. All are welcome.Trust in Providence:
