O'CONNOR, Ronan Brendan (Rocky) (Blackrock Dublin) March 22, 2020 peacefully and unexpectedly at home, in the company of his loving partner Cathy. Will be sorely and dearly missed by his mother Brede, children Paul, Louise and James, their mother Patricia, his adored grandson Brendan and siblings Claire, Joan and David. Rest in Peace. Funeral service strictly private in the current circumstances. Deeply regretted by the entire family circle and friends. A remembrance and celebration of Ronan’s life will take place at a later date.

O'CONNOR - Ronan (“Rocky”, Blackrock, Co. Dublin and Cloonshee, Co. Roscommon). On Ronan’s first anniversary his family would sincerely like to thank everyone who offered their condolences and support after his sudden and unexpected death. Ronan is missed and remembered with great love and appreciation by his partner Cathy, his children Paul, Louise and James, their mother Patricia, his mother Brede, siblings Claire, Joan and David and his many friends. His memory will be fondly shared with his grandchildren Brendan and Maeve. Special thanks to Reverend John Canon Delany then of Blackrock Parish for his support to the family and for his arrangement of the church and funeral in the difficult early days of the pandemic.

Paul Ryan So sorry to hear about the passing of Ronan. He was a great colleague whilst in UCD. So happy to have met up with him and Cathy in Blackrock with UCD colleagues for a meal in early March. At dheis De go raibh a anam dilis.
