From the Roberts family
Dear John and Eileen I was so sorry to hear of the very sad passing of paddy. I received a phone call from Barry Conroy yesterday. I remember arriving in Ireland in 1969 with bill and pam and living at ballykilty for 6 months prior to moving to ballysabona in ballyalla. I remember such good times with Barry, paddy, Paul and John o'sullivan around ballykilty and quin. I shall treasure those days forever as I grew up before coming to England. It is always a tragedy to suffer a loss in this way but in my memories Paddy will always be that great friend of my boyhood. Our thoughts are with you Dai Roberts and family

A Fond Remberance

Even though I didn't know Paddy very well, from the times I was in his company, I knew him to be a highly intelligent and creative man. He could speak on a wide variety of topics. He was passionate about things that were important to him and he wasn't afraid to speak up about them. He was also very witty. He loved music and poetry and I have a lovely memory of him visiting my home one Christmas time when we had a great sing song. My sympathies go out to Johnny and all his family.
