Berna Hyland Gordon

Bernadette was my older and very elegant cousin. She always seemed to be so sofisticated. She took me to see many NYC shows. She always had such interesting stories to tell. Her cooking was wonderful. Had many a happy day with her and Geoffry. She was always full of life and an example of a true "lady." May you rest in peace.

Rembering "Auntie" Bernie

Many memories of Bernadette's kindness to me when I visited Manhattan: the flowers left in my room, the beautiful lunches and dinners in top restaurants, the visits to MOMA and the Met Opera, the evening cocktail in "Elaine's" on 89th and 2nd....will miss you Bernie and thank you for making me love New York. Rest peacefully in your home county.. xHelen
