MEAGHER, Dr. Declan (Former Master, The National Maternity Hospital), of Sandymount, Dublin and Ferbane, Co. Offaly, November 3, 2019, peacefully, surrounded by his family; loving husband of the late Emer (née McMullin) and loving father of Frances, Tim, Mary, Declan, Paul, Simon, Peter and Emma. Deeply loved by his grandchildren, Gaël, Emma, Zoe, Stéphanie, Michèle, Julie, Paul, Hugo, Cameron, Cia, Florence, Simon, Harriet, Nicole, Declan, Charlotte, Killian, Matt, Luke, Ralph, Daniel, Paddy and Sarah, his great-grandchildren Callum, Shaun, Philippa, Maxine, César, Phaedra, Rafe, Hugo, Isaac and Alex. Sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Brigitte, Elizabeth, Darina, Jeanette and Adrienne, sons-in-law Denis and Noel, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) morning to St. Mary’s, Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by burial at Mount Venus Cemetery, Rockbrook, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16.
