FLOOD Cyril Noel (Eshcol, Knocknacurra, Bandon and formerly of Glenside, New Ross) - February 12, 2013, beloved father of Sonia and Mark, husband of Vera, father-in-law of John and Mary and loving grandfather of Nick, Karin, Rachel, Lisa and Sarah; sadly missed by his loving family, his much loved sister Audrey, niece Karin, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Service tomorrow (Friday) at 7 o'clock at the Methodist Church, Ardfallen, Douglas Road, Cork. Funeral Service at Church of St. John The Baptist, Seafield Road, Clontarf (Dublin) at 10 o'clock on Saturday followed by burial in St. Fintans Cemetary Sutton.For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ and him crucified 1 Corinthians 2 v 2

<p>FLOOD (Cyril Noel), (Knocknacurra, Bandon, late of New Ross and Clontarf) - A sad year has passed since Noel's home call at Mercy Hospital, Cork. He is survived by his wife Vera, son Mark, daughter Sonia and their families, also his sister Audrey and niece Karin. All are mindful of the affection, support and sympathy which has upheld them. Much gratitude is due to the Christian fellowship at Eschol which he led faithfully for many years. Special appreciation is due to the tireless devotion of his carer Úna. The thanksgiving service at Ardfallen will long be remembered as will the graciousness of Rev. John Marchant who conducted the funeral service in Clontarf Parish Church, Seafield Road. Thanks also go to organist and friend John Rowden. The family is sincerely thankful to each and everyone who attended the services, some from a distance, and to all others who wrote or phoned. Please accept this acknowledgement from our hearts. We mourn our loss but &quot;trace the rainbow through the rain and feel the promise is not vain that life shall endless be&quot;. We praise God for our dear Noel's Christian stewardship, and his love for us all.&quot;Till we meet again&quot;</p>
