McCABE, (née Price) Joan (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) July 25, 2018, at Blackrock Hospice, after a brave battle with cancer. Beloved and darling wife for 53 years of David. Sadly missed by her children Rosalie, Christopher and Lindsay, son-in-law Sing, daughter-in-law Roisin, grandchildren Max, Alex, Matthew and Dairine and her brother Ken Price. Thank you to Prof. John Crown and the staff of Blackrock Hospice. To her many friends in patchwork, gardening, painting and tennis, we say thank you for your contribution to a very full life. Reposing at Carnegies Funeral Directors, The Crescent, Monkstown, Co. Dublin on Monday (July 30) from 3pm to 4.30pm followed by Removal to Trinity Church, Lower Gardiner Street, Dublin 1 where there will be a gathering of family and friends from 7pm to 8.30pm. Funeral Service at Trinity Church on Tuesday (July 31) at 10.30 am. Burial at Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill, Co. Dublin for family and close friends only. Home private. Family flowers only please. Donations suggested to Blackrock Hospice, Irish Guide Dogs or Irish Cancer Society. “Homeward bound”

David now living in Cornwall. All thoughts are with you David the family. Both you & Joan have been wonderful generous & kind friends for close on 60 years, it was good to see & have tea with Joan on my last visit to Ireland in 2017.
