KERR (Aileen Frances MBE) (née Armstrong) - On the First Anniversary of her death, February 28, 2010, Aileen's family wish to express their most sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their sad loss. A very heartfelt thanks to her many friends and good neighbours with whom she shared great love and affection. To all the staff of Leopardstown Park Hospital our special gratitude for the care and attention she so deeply appreciated during her last two years. Sincere thanks also are due to the medical and nursing staff of St. Vincent's Hospital for their professionalism and kindness during Aileen's short illness. Thank you to all who attended her funeral and to those who sent flowers and cards and made donations to the Lifeboat Institution. It meant a great deal to meet and talk to those people whose lives Aileen had touched, especially through her service to the Friends of Leopardstown Hospital for which she worked tirelessly over many years. Our sincere thanks are due to Brian Carnegie for his personal attention and sensitive handling of Aileen's funeral and committal, and to Rev. Patrick Lawrence, Rev. Kevin Dalton and Rev John Tanner for their kindness and support at that difficult time. We hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation. Aileen, your passing has left a void which no words can adequately express. May you rest in peace in the gentle arms of the Lord.'My little children, let us not love in word,
neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth'.
