SWEENEY, (Killeen Castle, Dunsany and formerly of Batterstown, Co. Meath) - May 20th, 2019, peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family, Adrian, beloved husband of Patricia and dear father of Aedamar, Angharad, Shonagh and Emilia. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Nicholas, partners Niall, Rory and Shane, darling grandson Theodore, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, uncle, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home this (Wednesday) evening from 5.00 O'Clock until 8.00 O'Clock. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon to Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan for a Civil Funeral Service at 1.30 O'Clock. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired to The Irish Cancer Society.
SWEENEY, Adrian (Killeen Castle, Dunsany and Terenure) May 20, 2019. On the First Anniversary of Adrian's passing, his wife Trish, daughters Aedamar, Angharad, Shonagh, Emilia, their partners and darling grandson Teddy would like to convey their sincere gratitude and love for all the support they received in the past year. Special word of thanks to the wonderful staff at the Bons Secours and Beaumont Hospital, in particular Professor Liam Grogan and his team. Also thank you to Meath Specialist Palliative Care (Roisin Gray). To all their wonderful neighbours and friends in Loughmore and further afield, thank you. Finally, they would like to extend their love to Adrian's brothers and sisters, and their partners, for all their support at a very difficult time. Adrian, Aido, A, TBDITWWW, is remembered every single day through food, music, stories, and his many "Adrianisms". His enduring message in these uncertain times would be the same as any other moment in time; Carpe Diem!
