HICKEY, Maria (née Conlan) (Marlay View, Ballinteer, Dublin 16 and late of Pembroke College, Limerick) - March 19, 2014 (peacefully) in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Aidan. Dearly missed by her partner and best friend Johnnie. Much loved mother of Linda, Paul and Stephen. Sadly missed by her sister Phil, brothers John and Denis, daughter-in-law Sarah, son-in-law Claude, grandchildren Sophie, Nicole, Christopher and Daniel, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Lwr. Main Street Dundrum. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11.00 am. in the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Ballinteer, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to The Irish Cancer Society.
SUTHERLAND - Ann (Macroom, Co Cork) - June 7, 2024, peacefully at Cork University Hospital in the presence of family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Fergie. Ann will be greatly missed by her daughter Carra and grandson Max; stepsons and daughters – Harry, Rosie, Ady, Tessa and their children; sisters Margaret (Donovan) and Mary (Dorgan), brothers Barry and John together with her many friends and neighbours.
A private family cremation service will be held on Friday, June 14. This will be followed by a remembrance gathering for Ann at the Castle Hotel, Macroom at 4pm.
