SWEENEY Theresa (Teasy) (née Mc Cormack) (Kilbarrack) passed away suddenly - September 2, 2015. Theresa is the beloved wife of Noel and loving mother of Sandra, Deborah, Bill and Noel. Her passing is a huge loss for her husband, sons, daughters, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends. Gentle and irreverent with a glint in her eye, she taught her children love, kindness and respect. She was always to be found with a book in her lap and a pearl of wisdom on her lips. We love her and always will. The hole in our lives will never be filled. Removal from her residence on Monday morning to St. John the Evangelist Church, Foxfield, Kilbarrack, arriving at 9.50am for funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Fingal Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Temple Street Children's Hospital. House private.
SWEENEY Theresa (Raheny, Dublin) - Today on the First Anniversary of the passing of our beloved mother Theresa (Teasy), we her family wish to thank our extended family, our many friends and neighbours who sympathised with our loss and helped us celebrate a wonderful person who brought love, wit and an appreciation for life to all. In particular we wish to thank our cousin Alan Dickenson who catered for her wake, also Lisa McGuinness for carrying Teasy out on a wave of song and Fr. Cathal Price for officiating at the ceremony. As we can't thank everyone individually please accept this Acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.
