McDAID, John J. (Jack) (Foxrock, Dublin 18 and formerly of Co. Donegal) December 10, 2017, (peacefully), after a short illness at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved husband of Mary and loving father of John, Mary-Ruth, Brian and Stephen. He will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, sister Mary-Frances (McBride), son-in-law Tom, daughters-in-law Grainne and Maeve, grandchildren James, Caoilainn, Jack, Aislinn, Ali, Meadhbh, Jenny, Sarah and Emma, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing tomorrow (Tuesday) evening from 5pm-7pm in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10 o’c in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock followed by Cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6w. Family flowers only please.
