COOLAHAN, John, (Professor Emeritus, Dublin and Tarbert), June 3, 2018, (peacefully) surrounded by his family, at Blackrock Hospice, Co. Dublin. He will be sadly missed by his wife Mary, daughters Marie-Louise, Iseult and Deirdre, son William, grandchildren Isobel and Sylvia (Jefferies), Joseph and Saoirse (Leaney), Réaltín, Ríona and Naoise (Coolahan); also his daughter-in-law Lorna, sons-in-law Enda and Richard, sister Margaret (Sheahan), relatives and friends. John will be reposing at Fanagan's Funeral Home, Dundrum, from 2pm to 4.00pm today (Tuesday), June 5, 2018. Removal to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, arriving at 5pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am tomorrow (Wednesday) June 6, 2018 and followed by removal to Tarbert, Co. Kerry. Reposing at St. Mary's Funeral Home, Tarbert, from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, June 6. Removal at 8pm to St. Mary's Church Tarbert. Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday, June 7, 2018 and followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

I went to St.Itas the same time as John-He was a few classes ahead of him but I remember him as a friendly person who always a smile on his face my sympathies to all his family at home and in Tarbert Maureen Barrett-​Chicago and Ballylongfor
