GREANEY, Martin J. (Comdt. Retired) died June 3, 2010 - Martin's children Veronica (McDonagh), Rosemary (Hogan), Noel, Dorothy (Phipps) and Miriam (Cronin), his sister Kitty, his sister-in-law Maureen Diskin, his grandchildren, great-granddaughter, nephews and nieces wish to thank all who sympathised with us and those who attended Martin's removal and funeral. Thanks to Martin's former Army colleagues, Galway Golf Club members and Galway Fire Station colleagues who attended. A special word of thanks to his former U.N. colleagues and serving Artillery Corps personnel whose guards of honour were much appreciated. We would also like to thank Fr. Gerry Jennings, P.P Salthill, Fr. Des Forde and Fr. Willie Cummins who concelebrated Martin's funeral Mass. Finally thanks to the staff at Mowlam Nursing Home, Moycullen who gave Martin kind and excellent attention during his last year.
