GAFFNEY, Maurice S.C. - (Monkstown, Co. Dublin). November 3, 2016 with his family present in his 101st year in the excellent and loving care of the doctors and staff at St. Vincent's Hospital. Dearly loved and loving husband of Leonie. Wonderful father to John and Patricia. Inspirational granddad to Stephen, Jonny and Leonie. Sadly missed by John's partner Francesco, his son-in-law Stephen, nephews Eoin and Michael, niece Phyllis, and extended family, friends and colleagues in the Law Library. Reposing at home from 2.30pm today (Saturday) with removal to St. Patrick's Church, Monkstown arriving at 4.30 pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 10.00 am followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery, Ballycorus Road. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Capuchin Day Centre.

VERY SINCERE SYMPATHY TO LEONIE, JOHN, PATRICIA.I LEARNED A GREAT LOT FROM MAURICE IN THE LAW LIBRARY, HE WAS NEVER SLOW TO SHARE HIS WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE. FEAR MÓR GAELACH É LEIS, AR DHEIS LÁMH DÉ GO RAIBH SÉ, PATRICK O'LEARY BL.
