MOLONEY ("Mount Carmel", Pennywell Road, Limerick and formerly of Clonlara, Co. Clare) - January 17, 2008 (in his 91st year, peacefully at home with his loving family). Michael, reunited with his beloved wife Martha (Fitzgerald). Most loving and inspiring father, cherished by his children John, Mary, Michael, Joan (MacKernan), Trish (Humphreys), Deirdre (O'Grady) and Tony, and his sons-in-law and daughters-in-law. A wonderful, loving and beloved grandfather and great-grandfather. Michael, the last member of Bridget and Johns family, Clonlara, will be so sadly missed by the extended Moloney and Fitzgerald families, and his dear friends and neighbours, especially Evelyn, Michael and Maeve. Deeply regretted by his sisters-in-law, Celine, Margaret, Anne and Mary and his brother-in-law, Stephen. Our thanks to Dr Diane Bennis, Dr Aoife McDonnell, Dr Michael Griffin and his colleagues and Dr Con Cronin for their care and compassion. Reposing at Griffin's Funeral Home, John's Gate, Pennywell from 4 o'clockocktomorrow (Sunday) Jan 20. Removal at 7.3O o'clock to St. John's Cathedral. Funeral Mass on Monday, Jan 21, at 11 o'clockockfollowed by burial at Doonass Cemetery, Co Clare."Dad, honourable and gentle always, in thought, word and dead".
