WHELAN Ronnie, June 3, 2011, at the Blackrock Hospice, after a short illness bravely borne; husband and best friend of Jane and loving father of Sam and Andrew, brother of Denis and the late Pat and Audrey. Deeply loved by his family, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law Annette, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral took place privately on Wednesday last (June 8). The family wish to thank all those who cared for Ronnie during his final illness. Donations, if desired, to the Blackrock Hospice.
