ROONEY (Retired Publican, Auctioneer and General Merchant) (Market Hill, Ballymore, Co. Westmeath) - September 17, 2010. Thomas (Tommy) in his 91st year (peacefully) at his home in the loving care of his wife and family. Much loved husband of Maureen (née Freeman) and devoted father of Marie (Woods), Declan, Mairead (Callaghan), Sheila (Cox), Tommy, Cyril and the late infant Raymond Joseph. Sadly missed by his devoted wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister Kathleen (Fitzpatrick), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, nephews especially Brendan, nieces, relatives and his many friends. Funeral Mass today (Monday) at 11 o'c in the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Ballymore, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations can be made in lieu to the South Westmeath Hospice.May his gentle soul rest in peace.
