THORNTON (née Brennan) Catherine (Sandyford and late of Donnybrook). April 13, 2017 (peacefully) at St. Vincent's University Hospital. Dearly loved wife of Paul and much loved mother of Robert, Simon and Matthew. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, sister Anne, daughters-in-law Clár and Claudia, grandchildren Éabha, Ethan and Donnacha, extended family and friends. May she Rest in Peace. Catherine will rest at the family home from 4.00pm until 7.00pm tomorrow (Saturday) evening and from 3.00pm on Easter Sunday followed by removal at 5.30pm to the Church of the Ascension Balally arriving for reception prayers at 6.00pm. Funeral Mass on Monday (April 17) at 10.00am followed by committal at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross, Dublin 6w. No flowers please. Just reading about Catherine's death now I had been thinking about her a lot lately She was a great friend to me when I came to Dublin Sincere sympathy to Paul and all the family and especially thinking of Anne
