SMYTH Vincent (Drummond, Longwood, Enfield, Co. Meath) - August 3, 2015, (peacefully), at St. Francis Hospice, Raheny, Dublin. Sadly missed by his loving wife Marie, daughters Elizabeth, Clare, Siobhain, Caitriona, sons Anthony and Vincent, sons-in-law, daughters in-law, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing at his home (Drummond) from 2.00pm to 9.00pm today (Wednesday 5th August 2015). Removal tomorrow (Thursday) morning, to arrive at Church of the Assumption, Killyon, for 12pm mass with burial afterwards at Killyon cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if wished to St Francis Hospice Raheny.
SMYTH Vincent, (Drummond, Longwood, Co. Meath) Died August 3, 2015 - Marie, Elizabeth, Anthony, Vincent, Clare, Siobháin and Caitríona, together with our extended family lovingly remember Vincent on the First Anniversary of his death. We miss him dearly. We wish to express our gratitude to all those who called to our house, attended the funeral, sent cards, flowers and messages of condolence. We wish to express a special word of thanks to our neighbours and friends from Killyon; to Fr. Kearney, friend of Vincent, who concelebrated the funeral Mass; ex-colleagues, past pupils, extended family and old friends. We are very grateful to you for helping us give him such a great send off, you shared so many stories and happy memories with us. Thank you for your support throughout the past year, with encouragement and recollection of a gentle man who inspired us to live a simple life well. Please accept this acknowledgement on behalf of our family as an expression of our deep appreciation.
