DAY, Walter Redmond (Reddy), (Mount Merrion and formerly of Cork) April 12, 2017 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff in St. Vincent's University Hospital, having lived a marvellous and full life for more than ninety-two years. Mourned by his loving family, especially his wife of sixty-three years Anne, his children Catherine, Thérèse (Mahon), Paul, Rosemary (Boland), Helena and William, daughters-in-law Barbara and Orla, sons-in-law Don and Patrick, his nine grandchildren, sisters Ursula and Kathleen and their wide circle of family and friends. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Monday (April 17) from 4.00pm prior to his removal to the Church of St Thérèse, Mount Merrion arriving at 5.00pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday (April 18) morning at 10.00am followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. No flowers please. But donations, if wished to Down Syndrome Ireland.Ní bheidh a leithéad arís ann.
