WEIR (née Murphy) Kate (Ballinderry, Mullingar, Co Westmeath) - December 15, 2016, (peacefully), in her 92nd year, at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar, beloved wife of the late Joe and grandmother of the late Paul, much loved and devoted mother to Niall, Mary, Catherine, Martha, Pat, Frances, Rachel, Gemma and Michael; she will be sadly missed by her loving family, her adored grandchildren and great-grand children, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, brother-in-law Kevin, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing at Gilsenan's Funeral Home today (Friday) from 4 o'c followed by Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6.30 o'clock Funeral Mass tomorrow (Saturday) at 10 o'c followed by burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Multyfarnham. House private please.

On the First Anniversary of Kate's passing her children, Niall, Mary, Catherine, Martha, Pat, Frances, Rachel, Gemma and Michael would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us. We would like to thank especially her GP's, Dr Liam D'Alton and Dr Antoinette Butler and all the doctors, nurses and staff of the Regional Hospital, Mullingar who cared for her. Sincere thanks to Fr Paul Crosby who celebrated a lovely funeral Mass. Heartfelt thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us, sent sympathy card and Mass cards. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.
