DUANE Major John, MC; (Kilrickle, Loughrea, Co. Galway); died January 17, 2012. R.I.P. - On the occasion of his First Anniversary, John's extended family wish to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with them, sent Mass cards, letters and floral tributes, attended prayers, removal, Requiem Mass and funeral. Our special thanks to Fr. Willie Moran O. Carm. as main celebrant, Bishop John Kirby, Monsignor Edward Stankard, and Fr. Raymond Sweeney; also, Monsignor Cathal Geraghty, Fr. Bernard Cuffe and Fr. Ambrose McNamee. We are most grateful to the choir at St. Brendan's Cathedral Loughrea, to the captain and members of Galway Golf Club who attended the removal and provided the guard of honour at the funeral, to Major and Mrs. Jack Dunlop, Curator of the Inniskillings Museum in Enniskillen, to Kilboys Funeral Directors for their special help and attention, to representatives of the Defence Forces, and the team who prepared and reinstated the grave: Francis Garvey, Gerry Larkin, J.J. Manton and Jack Headd. We thank also the nurses and caring staff at Retreat Nursing Home Athlone, where our uncle spent his final years. Mass has been offered for all your intentions.
